as promised

I promised in the last entry that I would share about my 'baby'...its a residential treatment facility for young women. I have a heart for helping and particularly helping young women. I know without a doubt that this is a part of my ultimate purpose and I can't wait until the day that it comes to fruition.
After a million years I finally decided on a name early in 2007- The Mercy House for girls. I have had so many other names and my only hope is within this past year that nobody has 'stolen' my name b/c I never went and got it officially registered....yes, something that need to be done ASAP!
so the goal is healing, reform and empowerment to hurting young women between the ages of 12-16. It will be residential and I haven't decided if I will focus on a 9-month period or a round-the-year organization with an on-going enrollment.
As I mentioned, most of the proposal is already in writing and there are just a few areas that need to be 'tightened'. I need a lawyer who is familiar with non-profit organizations or community -based organizations to help me with how to establish the company. then I NEED NEED NEED an accountant or some financial guru to help me put a proper budget together.
my issue is I am too nice. I would LOVE to offer this type of organization for little to nothing cost for the students but I also want good, qualified employees and I know those people need to eat and take care of themselves...i.e need to be sufficiently compensated with incentives from their job!
ok...so hopefully you have a better idea of my 'dream'!!!
