I promised in the last entry that I would share about my 'baby'...its a residential treatment facility for young women. I have a heart for helping and particularly helping young women. I know without a doubt that this is a part of my ultimate purpose and I can't wait until the day that it comes to fruition.
After a million years I finally decided on a name early in 2007- The Mercy House for girls. I have had so many other names and my only hope is within this past year that nobody has 'stolen'...

sooo, its been a very long time since I posted here. firstly, I didn't realize that I had readers (thanks ladies) and 2ndly I was going through some issues...so now I am back.
soooo we will rewind. I am stepping away from the wedding/event planning...only because there is a bigger project that I already started and haven't seen it through completion.

Argh! Sometimes when things happen unexpectedly, I’m literally thrown...

Its not that I am young and naïve and don’t realize that life is all about change. I know this. I acknowledge this and I respect this…its just that I take a bit longer to adjust than the average person I guess. I grieve over the smallest things sometimes.
With this in mind, then you can understand why this year of ‘new beginnings’ may have been a sweet-sorrow...

In Biblical terms, the number 8 represents "new beginnings". I, as an individual try to be practical and not overly spiritual but I can't help but to think of the significance of this in my life. 2008 brought in so many 'firsts' for me and I know that there is still more to come.
