I am so glad this website is available. I have been thinking about starting a blog for a good minute now, and thanks to Senam my laziness has gone away and I am getting back to my plan (Thanks Senam!)

FI and I are on a 2-city mini vacation. We just got back from our trip to Norfolk, VA where we stayed in the most fabulous Bed and Breakfast. Everything was so serene and so romantic. We only stayed for 2 days but I felt like it was a week.

Now we are off to Charleston, SC...another romantic spot. Charleston has become "our spot". We stumbled upon the city two years ago when FI was on a work trip. We have been hooked ever since. I am looking forward to leaving in the a.m., but hate the fact that I know it will be HOT and STICKY. It is always blazing in Charleston. Its kinda bad when you are tryin to be cute for your man and your hair is stickin out like that little girl in the Color Purple. But its also kinda good cuz when you are in a situation like that, you cannot think your s@#^ doesn't stink-you gotta be humble when your head looks like that.

On a corny note, it is good to see that FI still loves every bit of me, no matter what I look like. We keep it real with each other, and love each other down to the bone. Thats my baby, my dawg, my n$&@%, and I love our time together
