Hey BABBIES!!! I'm so excited to start a blog. So here I go. I look forward to keep everyone posted on the home buying process, as well as my own journey.

Ok so Derrick and I have been house hunting before( back in 06) and we didn't find anything we liked in our price range. I was ready to move and so was he. So we got an apartment. Year and a half later we got married and presently we're searching for THAT HOUSE once again!

We've looked at fifty thousand houses( okay not that many) but damn it feels like it. In the DC area it's soo hard to find a decent house without having to give up your first born child. This housing market can go kick rocks! We've put a contract on a nice single family home in the DC area last Saturday and guess what? The seller is on vacation ....okay lady you're in NEED to sell your house and you're not taking calls??? Are you kidding me? So we're still going to continue looking for that perfect house and maybe, just maybe ole girl will return her realtor's calls about selling her house??????? Lord knows I'm ready to be a homeowner! It's not easy ladies, but it's not that scary either. Shoot when Derrick and I learned what our mortgage would be with this house we bout fell out of our chairs. Praying like "how are we going to do this?" But I know that God will give us guidance and let us step out and make that move.
