its the closing of a new year.... and I feel awesome. 2008 was a good year for me. "Good year" really means that there were some victories and I feel I have successfully learned from the challenges/downfalls.

so a brief update on everything that's going on.
2 university applications are complete!
1 application for financial aid through work is complete

I still have another 2 applications and with one of the programs, everything...

Here goes the aged old question.. who are you?

Who am I? I am.. .I could sit here and write a whole list of adjectives, and superlatives but what purpose does that serve? What story does it tell? I am what my experiences have made me out to be, I am reflection of my past, the good, the bad, the ugly, the better. I am a foreshadow of what's to come of my future.

They say that behind every dark cloud is a silver lining. Well it seems as if I have found my silver lining. Nothing major has happened, I just woke up feeling touched, feeling blessed, feeling like myself. I see myself in a whole new light, which means I am back to whom I know best, me. Getting back to self is one of the best feelings I have had in a long time. I am confident and ready to accept anything life may bring my way. I have faith in self and most importantly faith in my spirituality....

I've been thinking a lot about what's been going on with HB (as I like to call him-short for Honey Bun) and I... I am hurting, just not as much as I did when we first split. I must say it's been comforting focusing more on myself. I have to thank the little birdie that's been in my ear telling me to do so. I had gotten so far into thinking for two that I almost forgot to think for the one that matters most... (thanks chica!)

I had a talk with another friend of mine and they too noticed...

I'm a music lover, if I were given the chane to I could come up with a soundtrack to my life, it might be have a billion songs on there, but I could do it. I can almost associate a song with every significant moment of my life.. some think it's crazy but music is also my therapy.

Right now, the song that plays over and over in my head is How do I, by Leann Rhymes (i think that's her last name but either way).. i haven't heard that song in ages..but it's playing loud and clear as...
